Glycolic acid is the smallest molecule in the alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) family, which allows it to penetrate the skin more deeply than other AHAs. This deeper penetration makes it highly effective at breaking down the bonds between dead skin cells, accelerating cell turnover, and stimulating collagen production in the underlying layers of the skin.

During your treatment, your specialist will apply the glycolic acid solution to your cleansed skin. You may feel a tingling or mild warming sensation as the peel works. The solution is carefully timed and then neutralized. The full session takes approximately 30 minutes.
