Microneedling
About This Service
Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses fine, sterile needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These tiny punctures trigger your body’s natural wound-healing response, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, the proteins responsible for keeping skin firm, smooth, and youthful.
During the procedure, a specialized device with fine needles is passed over the treatment area. Before beginning, a topical numbing cream is applied to ensure your comfort throughout the session. The micro-channels created by the needles not only stimulate collagen production but also allow serums and treatment products to penetrate much deeper into the skin for enhanced effectiveness.
Microneedling is effective for a wide range of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, stretch marks, and dull or aging skin. The treatment can be performed on the face, neck, decolletage, and other body areas.
Each session takes approximately 30 minutes. After treatment, your skin will appear red, similar to a mild sunburn. This redness typically subsides within one to three days. Some clients also experience mild swelling or sensitivity, which resolves quickly.
Results develop gradually as your body produces new collagen over the weeks following treatment. Most clients begin to see noticeable improvements in skin texture and firmness within two to four weeks, with continued improvement over the following months. A series of three to six sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, is typically recommended for optimal results.
Your specialist will assess your skin and create a treatment plan tailored to your specific concerns, ensuring you get the most effective and safe results from your microneedling sessions.
